Soul Salt is a combination of my two greatest passions. So when I’m not immersed in the world of reading and writing, you’ll find me donning yet another hat; my traveler’s hat – exploring diverse cultures and landscapes around the world.
I grew up in a mixed family, half-Western and half-Eastern. I’ll admit, sometimes the blend of both can be isolating…I’ve often felt I have one foot in each door and somehow don’t fully belong in either world. Rather, I hover in some ambiguous space in the middle.
On the other hand, I’ve had the privilege of being exposed to travel at a young age, visiting my family spread across the continents. And thus, the “travel bug” bit me from the very beginning, and I have no plans of slowing down any time soon.
From afar, I’ve enjoyed a honeymoon island hopping in Greece, a family’s trip to Japan, a birthday bash in Mexico, a graduation trip in Scandinavia, and the list goes on.
